The University of Miami Central Energy Projects were completed in several phases as dictated by budget in order to maintain chilled water production and distribution to a fully occupied campus. The projects were all completed with energy efficiency in mind, which resulted in maximized energy cost savings and a reduced overall environmental impact. Craig Gulledge was the lead engineer and project manager for many central utility projects including chiller, pump, and cooling tower upgrades and additions. Three new water cooled chillers and a new backup data center air cooled chiller totaled 2,500 tons.
